Academic Counselor and Motivational Author Jacqui DeLorenzo Sets Off Year-Long Plan to Further Promote a Culture of Self-Confidence
With an MS and LMHC in Academic Counseling, Jacqui DeLorenzo has spent decades fulfilling her lifelong passion for helping people persevere and find belief in themselves. Even after retirement, she desires to keep fulfilling her mission to reach people in serious need of love, hope, and understanding. Toward that end, she published four books and has recently been striving to promote their distribution to today’s readers.

Throughout her long career, Jacqui DeLorenzo has worked tirelessly as an academic counselor with a passion for helping young people find belief in themselves and overcome their challenges.
And even as she is now officially retired, she still feels the pull of her calling. That is why she has turned to authoring books that can reach many young readers in need of love, hope, and understanding. And this year, she plans to do some additional promotional work of all her work to better their chances at visibility and distribution.
To date, she has published four books. Each one touches on the core theme of finding self-confidence and overcoming challenges, but they do so in different ways with different types of content.
In “Straight from My Heart: Journey of Hope, Love and Peace,” De Lorenzo shares stories of herself alongside her friends, hospice patients, and their caregivers. It particularly puts focus on life after death and how a positively energetic approach to life at the moment may be the best way to approach the idea.
Meanwhile, “A Thread of Hope: A Woman’s Spiritual Journey of Faith from Trauma to Triumph” is the most autobiographical of the four and it shares her personal struggles overcoming the breakup of her parents, the death of her 13-year-old brother, and her cancer survival experience.
The remaining two books are both story collections, but they can also make for lighter reads. “After The Rain: There is Always a Rainbow” contains a diverse assortment of quotes, poems, and short tales that are all aimed towards lifting a reader’s spirits. “Believe in Yourself: Never Give Up” offers a similar collection, but puts together content drawn from blog posts.
