Accenture Federal Services Announces MxDR for Government to be Powered by Google SecOps, Enhancing Federal Cybersecurity

Accenture Federal Services today announced the launch of a joint Managed Extended Detection and Response (MxDR) solution with Google Public Sector. The new MxDR for government solution integrates Google Security Operations (SecOps) platform with Accenture Federal’s deep federal cybersecurity expertise. This solution uses security-specific generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) to significantly enhance threat detection and response, and the overall security posture for federal agencies.

This announcement expands the cybersecurity services of the existing Cybersecurity Center of Excellence between Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector.

The MxDR for government solution, announced at Google Cloud Next 2025, combines Google Cloud’s cutting-edge AI and machine learning capabilities with Accenture Federal’s tailored federal security frameworks and experienced cybersecurity professionals. This collaboration aims to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve cybersecurity resilience across federal mission areas. Key capabilities include real-time intelligence-based threat detection, modernized orchestration and automation response playbooks, and customizable dashboards designed for federal-specific use cases.

The MxDR for government solution includes unique and pioneering capabilities integrated with Google technologies, enabling federal agencies to:

• Detect more threats with less effort  – the MxDR solution offers federal clients an integrated library of Google’s expert detections and Accenture Federal’s tailored MxDR threat detection library. Agencies can use Google AI for intuitive data search and analysis, custom detection creation, and AI assisted query refinement.
• Investigate with the right context  – the MxDR solution provides streamlined security analysis with an intuitive interface featuring threat-centric case management, interactive and contextual alert graphs, and automated entity stitching. Google AI-generated case summaries and response recommendations accelerate investigations. Fast, flexible, and context-rich search capabilities ensure analysts can easily respond with speed and precision.

MxDR for government solution is a FedRAMP High Authorized solution supporting compliance with stringent federal cybersecurity controls and providing a seamless 24x7 upgrade path for agencies.
