Siemens Industrial Automation Products, Chengdu (SEWC) is the twin factory of Siemens’ Amberg Plant in Germany and is widely recognized as one of the most advanced factories in the world. To keep up with modern digital production applications, SEWC needed to upgrade its manufacturing execution system as it faced a series of challenges affecting production continuity, such as lack of flexibility and scalability, low development efficiency, and insufficient operational convenience.

SEWC deployed Red Hat OpenShift to create MEMO, a new generation of integrated, flexible, and resilient production support system to improve the user experience for production line workers and enhance work efficiency.
