  • On April 12, the legendary Homestead Miami Speedway will host the fifth round of Formula E Season 11
  • Coming off the back of an excellent victory in Jeddah in February, DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT head into this latest American round with big ambitions
  • Jean-Eric Vergne, Formula E’s only two-time champion, and Maximilian Günther – who took pole and the win in Saudi Arabia – will drive the two DS E-TENSE FE25 cars as usual

Following a 10-year absence, the city of Miami is back on the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with a race on Saturday at the famous Homestead circuit. This icon of American motorsport is usually associated with NASCAR and IndyCar but will now showcase Formula E for the first time on a 3.5-kilometre track that uses part of the oval and the road course.

DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT are feeling very confident after a pole position, win, and fastest race lap at the Jeddah E-Prix on February 14, with the firm objective of continuing their strong start to the season.

The French-American team’s factory drivers Jean-Eric Vergne and Maximilian Günther will be capitalising on all the performance of the DS E-TENSE FE25 to fight at the front and bring home more points.

The DS PENSKE team is currently fourth in the teams’ championship but just five points off the lead, with higher motivation than ever to score another podium.

The Miami race will get underway at 20:00 CET (14:00 local time).

Eugenio Franzetti, DS Performance director:

“After Maximilian’s fantastic win in Jeddah, the team has worked very hard to prepare for this race at Homestead. It’s an iconic venue that’s all-new to Formula E, and we are feeling especially motivated to get going for the fifth race of the season! Thanks to the talent of our engineers, mechanics, and our two drivers, as well as the performance of the DS E-TENSE FE25, I’m sure that we are perfectly equipped to do great things in Miami!”

Key figures since DS Automobiles entered Formula E:

  • 125 races
  • 4 championship titles
  • 17 victories
  • 52 podiums
  • 25 pole positions
