Author’s Biography:

David Witherington Stewart is a Florida-based author who graduated from the University of Florida in 1959 with a BS in Physics. From 1957 to 1996, he held key positions in America’s space program, including Mercury/Atlas, Gemini/Titan, Apollo/Saturn, Space Shuttle, and the International Space Station. From 1995-2009, he owned L&D Consulting, a firm specializing in business plans, grants, and proposals.

In 1999, he began writing, taking courses with Writers Digest School and Humber College. He has published five novels and a memoir. His wife died of breast cancer in 1999, and he has a son who lives in Newberry, Florida. His daughter was murdered in 1979 at the young age of nineteen.

Stewart, a Lifetime Achiever, has been featured in multiple Marquis Who’s Who publications, such as Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World, plus 1,000 People of Influence for the New Millennium by the American Biographical Institute in 2000.
