Aker Kvaerner awarded subsea boosting systems contract for Petrobras
Aker Kvaerner has been awarded a contract to supply eight subsea boosting systems to Petrobras, Brazil’s national oil company. The contract is worth approximately USD 25 million.
The scope of work comprises eight subsea boosting systems, including power distribution, vertical connection modules, tools, accessories and spares. All systems will be deployed in the Jubarte Phase II field, as part of its artificial lift system. Work will be completed from Aker Kvaerner’s subsea facility in Curitiba within 14 months.
