Oracle Helps NetApp Automate User Provisioning.

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.- Oracle today announced that Network Appliance (NASDAQ: NTAP) has deployed Oracle(r) Identity Management as the foundation of Netapp’s new Identity Management infrastructure. Serving as a key component of its comprehensive information security program, Oracle Identity Manager helps NetApp enforce tighter automated access and management controls around its sensitive data and applications. The software also enables NetApp to streamline the new hire process by equipping new employees with the tools they need to become fully productive as soon as possible. Additionally, using Oracle Identity Manager, NetApp can provide its more than 5,000 employees with appropriate access and help to make sure that when personnel leave the company that access is removed quickly. The enhanced controls and security allow NetApp to track identity information that can be used to satisfy security and audit needs.
