The Fortune|Money Group Announces New Sales Organization
A new sales organization for Time Inc.’s business and finance titles was announced today. The group previously named Time Inc. Business and Finance Network, which includes Fortune, Money and Fortune Small Business magazines and the website CNNMoney.com, will be re-branded as the Fortune|Money Group. The announcement was made by Fortune|Money Group President Vivek Shah.
As part of the reorganization, a new executive position will be created that will be responsible for all print and digital advertising revenue across the Fortune|Money Group. A search will be conducted to fill this key role, which will report directly to Shah.
In addition, Hugh Wiley and Brett Wilson are named Publishers for Fortune and Money respectively. As Publishers, Wiley and Wilson will be responsible for advertising sales and brand marketing for the magazines. The print advertising sales team will report jointly to Wiley and Wilson, and individual account executives will continue to represent all three magazines.
Alan Ives joins as SVP, Sales, CNNMoney.com, responsible for all digital advertising revenue. The digital advertising sales team will report to Alan.
The digital and print sales teams will continue to work closely together to provide clients with fully-integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions, tapping into the Fortune|Money Group’s Integrated Marketing organization.
Shah said, "Our goal was to simplify our sales structure for the marketplace. By installing Publishers, we’ll strengthen our already market-leading brands, while continuing to offer advertisers a single point-of-contact across our magazines. In addition, by maintaining dedicated print and digital sales team, we’ll have experts in each medium to work with our advertisers. A single head of all advertising will ensure we offer our clients the best print, digital and integrated solutions in the industry"
