Control4 Expands International Presence

New Regional Office to Support International Growth Efforts with Dealers, Distributors and Manufacturing Partners Throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa

York, England . – Control4, a leader in affordable IP-based home control and entertainment systems, today announced a major international expansion plan with the formation of a regional sales, distribution and support center in York, England.

Control4® solutions are currently distributed in 18 countries throughout the world. The expansion helps Control4 meet the increased demand in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), creates stronger dealer and distributor channel relationships and provides better support for Control4 manufacturing partners. To lead these efforts, Control4 has hired Tony Leedham and Brian Chapman, previously with Aventure, to direct the EMEA business and UK operations.

In addition to managing all regional channels of distribution, the Control4 EMEA headquarters will provide sales, customer support, marketing and accounting services to the region. Tony Leedham will oversee operations and Brian Chapman will oversee sales. Jointly they will develop the business for the EMEA region, working closely with the executive team at Control4 headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Control4’s affordable and easy-to-use products enable home theater control, multi-room music, smart lighting, temperature control and security, through a range of in-home and over-the-web remote control technology. The products were previously sold in EMEA through a distributor relationship with Aventure. With the opening of the Control4 EMEA headquarters, all distribution partners will have a direct and more localized relationship with Control4 and will enjoy the benefits of increased sales, marketing and customer support.
