Next Day Blinds Introduces Motorized Window Coverings
Next Day Blinds has just introduced motorized window blinds and shutters to the market. The window coverings can be controlled easily by a remote, wall switch or preset timer.
Jessup, Maryland (Webwire) July 24, 2008—Next Day Blinds, a manufacturer and retailer of high quality custom made blinds, shades and shutters, has introduced motorized blinds and shades to the market. Customers now have the ability to control their blinds and shades easily with just the touch of a button. Next Day Blinds offers three options to control these new products in order to provide their customers with a choice to fit their lifestyle: a remote, wall switch, or preset timer.
One option, the preset timer, is a popular choice for shades that can be preprogrammed to raise or lower at specific times throughout the day. This can effectively control heat loss during the winter and heat gain during the summer, reducing heating and air-conditioning costs. The preset timer also allows homeowners to preprogram their blinds to raise and lower when they are not home, creating a lived-in look when the house is empty.
With the remote control or wall switch, oversized and hard to reach window coverings can easily be raised or lowered. Glare can effortlessly be reduced, and privacy instantly achieved.
Customers are intrigued by this new option and love to work the remote with our full size displays in our showrooms, “Our motorized shades are an exciting addition to our products,” said Next Day Blinds Vice President of Marketing, Meghan Hodge. “Customers are ‘wowed’ by these products in the showrooms. They really love the technology.”
Next Day Blinds is very excited to be offering this technology. “Motorization brings functionality to a whole new level for window treatments,” she said. “Home automation is becoming more and more mainstream and customers really respond to this option.”
