Symantec to Webcast Annual Stockholder Meeting

CUPERTINO, Calif. – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), today announced that it will webcast its annual stockholder meeting on Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at noon ET/9 a.m. PT. John W. Thompson, Symantec’s chairman and chief executive officer, will conduct the formal business of the meeting.

To listen to the webcast, please go to the Web site at least 15 minutes early to register, download and install any necessary audio software. A replay will be available on the investor relations home page shortly after the meeting is completed.
