Handful of Old Toy Marbles Collect $13,000 Selling on eBay
A small collection of (10) Vintage Toy Marbles fetched an astounding $13,000 while selling on eBay. The Marbles, claimed (by the seller) to be very rare and handmade, had caught the attention of over 3,100 people (recorded by auction counter) who took a closer look at their unique designs.
The opening bid started at $5,000 on April 24th, 2009. Ten days later the (10) vintage marbles had received 18 bids (collectively) from the 7 bidders who participated in the bidding war. Before a final (eBay Selling) price of $13,000 was realized.
