Pioneer Hi-Bred Ukraine Wins Agro-brand 2011

DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred – Ukraine recently won the “Agro-brand 2011” award for producer of agricultural crop seeds for the second year in a row. The award was announced and presented at an official ceremony during the opening of the “INTERAGRO – 2011” fair in Kiev, Ukraine.

InterAGRO is the biggest agricultural exhibition in the Ukraine. This year, more than 450 participating companies participated representing the latest technological developments of world-known brands.

“We are grateful to our farmer customers for the recognition of our efforts and commitment to increase their productivity and profitability,” said Csaba Molnar, Pioneer Ukraine operations manager. “The prestigious ’Agro-brand 2011’ award that our company won for the second year in a row is inspiring us to further improve our service and supply the best product on the right hectare in time for optimal planting conditions by our customers.”

This recognition was awarded to Pioneer based on the results of a farmers’ opinion poll of the most popular and best-known brands in the sphere of the agricultural sector, which was held by the Association “Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business” (UCAB) and JSC “Kiev International Contract Fair.”

“This award is a testament to our customers’ recognition of Pioneer’s new products resulting from the increase in research in the region after the opening of a fully-dedicated corn, sunflower and oilseed rape research station in Lyubartsi in early 2010,” Csaba said.
