Sazama’s Lakeside Grille Returns to Summerfest with Expanded Menus and a Prix Fixe Menu for Fireworks Nights

Milwaukee, WI – Sazama’s Lakeside Grille will again bring a dash of panache to the shores of Lake Michigan at Summerfest from June 29 – July 3 and July 5 -10. This year Sazama’s Lakeside Grille is presented by Fiduciary Management, Inc.
Sazama’s has widened their menu offerings for 2011 with more lunch and dinner items, plus a new small plate menu created for the post-dinner crowd. Sazama’s Lakeside Grille is offering special prix fixe menus for the June 29 and July 3 fireworks shows.
“Everybody loves Summerfest and this gives people a truly unique venue for food and relaxation during this world renowned music festival,” said Joe Brueggemann, Director of Sazama’s Fine Catering. Sazama’s is located right along the water’s edge and offers fine dining with white linen tabletops and stemmed wine glasses right in the midst of Summerfest.
Steve Sazama, owner and operator, added, “we got such a terrific response last year that we’re not only back, but better than ever.” The cuisine might be described best as festive gourmet, including items like Bourbon Street Pasta, Steak au Poivre, and a Blackened Salmon with a tomato, caper and crayfish sauté. Diners will also find lighter fare including Chipotle Caesar Salad, Shrimp “Martini”, and Flatbread Pizzas. The lunch menu offers starters, salads and sandwiches, while the dinner menu showcases a combination of starters and entrée items. Both feature a selection of desserts.
New this year is the Small Plate menu, which offers a variety of items ranging from Shrimp “Martini” and Bourbon Street Dip to a Slider Trio with Crab Cake, Tenderloin and Pulled Pork.
For those seeking a special oasis for the fireworks, Sazama’s Lakeside Grille offers patrons a special prix fixe menu at a candlelit table. On these nights, reservations start at 7:30 p.m. and the fixed price includes an entree, dessert and shared appetizer.
And for groups, a new private party option is available for 10 to 140 guests. Space for private parties is available for day and evening events of three hours. Special menus are available.

Sazama’s Lakeside Grille, presented by Fiduciary Management, Inc., came to Summerfest in 2010 and is operated by Sazama’s Fine Catering. Sazama’s Lakeside Grille is located on the south end of the Summerfest grounds – adjacent to the Classic Rock Stage. This lakeside restaurant accommodates 140 diners and serves lunch from noon to 3:00 p.m., dinner from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and small plates from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. Patrons will find a full service bar, elegant table settings and fine cuisine in a relaxed and scenic setting.
