For something a little different, why not try the Specially Selected Pandoro (750g, £3.29)? This traditional festive Italian sponge cake is light and airy, made to a heavenly Veronese recipe. This stunning dinner table showpiece is in stores now.

Aldi’s Specially Selected Exquisite Panettone (800g, £6.99) is made from 40-year old mother dough from the Venezia Giulia region, and packed full with fruity apricots that perfectly complement the subtle hints of Prosecco.

Extend the hand of goodwill around the table this year with the hand-finished Specially Selected Exquisite Sharing Mince Pie (£3.99, 549g), made with premium Morello cherry mince, encased in an all-butter pastry and topped with golden Morello and red glace cherries. On sale 14^th November.

Looking for something a little lighter for guests to help themselves to? Aldi’s NEW Exquisite Florentine Selection (£4.99) will be launching in store on 14^th November. Crafted by master bakers in the heart of the English countryside, the caramel recipe is combined with only the finest ingredients, including flaked almonds, sultanas and mixed peel, each topped with a layer of indulgent dark, milk or white Belgian chocolate. Delicious!
