Eight Michelin Stars, One Destination: Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong Continues to Shine as the Culinary Destination

Hong Kong, China – WEBWIRE

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong regained its prestigious eight Michelin stars status, with the recent release of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2024 on March 14, 2024. In the 16th edition of the guide for the region, Caprice shines brightly, securing three Michelin stars for the 6th consecutive year. Lung King Heen has also been awarded two Michelin stars, while Noi has elevated its status to two Michelin stars. Additionally, Sushi Saito has retained its one Michelin star.

Christian Poda, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, expressed pride in his team, “We are thrilled to achieve these prestigious accomplishments that have firmly cemented Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong as a culinary mecca where innovation, passion and world class dining converge. This recognition stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our talented chefs and service teams in consistently delivering unparalleled experiences for our guests. We value diversity in our teams and that is how we foster a spirit of collaboration, where they can cross pollinate and inspire each other.”

A Starred-Studded Line-Up

The monument of French fine dining, Caprice, retained the three-star accolade for the sixth consecutive year. Led by Chef Guillaume Galliot and Restaurant Director Victor Petiot, the restaurant has achieved new heights in culinary execution and creativity since 2017. In January this year, Caprice hosted a special gastronomic event to celebrate Chef Galliot’s 20th anniversary in Asia. The event brought together 26 world-renowned chefs with a total of 30 Michelin stars to present a series of tasting menus. Caprice offers an exquisite dining room, renowned hospitality, and a wine selection that tells a story, all complementing an authentic vision brought to life by the talented team.

Joining Caprice is Lung King Heen, the world’s first Chinese restaurant to attain three Michelin stars in 2008. The team is grateful for the years of recognition and the two-star rating in 2024. This year marks the 16th year that Lung King Heen has been acknowledged with the Michelin awards, and it holds an impressive record of winning the accolade of three Michelin stars for 14 consecutive years.

Since the restaurant’s opening, Chinese Executive Chef Chan Yan Tak, Restaurant Manager Jacky Cheung and their team have always strived to deliver excellence in food quality, service and innovation. Lung King Heen’s recipes and signature dishes have redefined the Cantonese dining scene and inspired other chefs worldwide. Lung King Heen would like to thank their loyal patrons, whether local or from overseas, for choosing to dine at the restaurant.

The third shining gem is Italian restaurant Noi, that has elevated to two Michelin stars this year. Chef Paulo Airaudo uses seasonal ingredients to create unexpected flavour combinations and consistent cooking techniques. His modern Italian approach shines through in the way he prepares fresh fish and shellfish at Noi.

Last but not least, Japanese restaurant Sushi Saito. Originally from Tokyo and led by legendary sushi master Takashi Saito, Sushi Saito has once again been recognized with one Michelin star this year. Chef Masashi Kubota leads the team in Hong Kong, continuing Chef Saito’s dedication to the craft of Edomae-style sushi, where the precision of fish ageing, rice cooking, and balance of vinegar, soy sauce and wasabi create sublime moments on the palate.

Celebrate with an Epicurean Journey

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong presents An Epicurean Journey room package. It includes a stay in a spacious suite, an HKD 1,000 dining credit at the two-Michelin-starred Lung King Heen, an innovative cocktail experience at the award-winning ARGO bar, and Executive Club access for two guests with all its benefits.
