Tokyo Central to Open Second Torrance Location on Pacific Coast Highway

Marukai Corporation (dba Tokyo Central) is proud to announce that its Tokyo Central store, a popular Japan-based grocer and retailer, will be celebrating the grand opening of its Torrance, California store on December 14, 2024. Members of the media are invited to attend a pre-grand opening press conference at 9:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the new Tokyo Central located at 3665 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrance, CA 90505.

At 22,150 square feet, the Tokyo Central Torrance PCH location will be the company’s 2nd Torrance location and its 12th US store. Currently, Tokyo Central operates 11 locations in the US, with plans to open additional stores in 2025.

Tokyo Central offers a wide variety of premium imported Japanese goods such as groceries, made-to-order and ready-to-go food trays, health products and many other specialty items. Tokyo Central will also feature Vanshow Sushi & Bar restaurant, serving fresh and authentic Japanese cuisine. Other grocery stores in the PPRM (USA) portfolio include Gelson’s, Don Quijote and Marukai.
