ClaimMaster 2.5 Introduces New Features for Accessing the USPTO Databases
ClaimMaster 2.5 now allows customers to batch download file wrappers, maintenance fee data, assignments, and patents in pdf/text format from the USPTO. The new release also generates patent family trees from PAIR databases.
ROCKVILLE, MD - February, 13, 2012 - ClaimMaster Software, a leading provider of proofreading and automation software for patent professionals, today announced addition of several new innovative capabilities to version 2.5 of its ClaimMaster® product.
The latest version of ClaimMaster allows customers to batch download patent file wrappers, maintenance fee and assignment data from the USPTO, in addition to the pdf and text versions of patents and patent applications. The latest version also lets users generate patent family trees based on continuity data available from the USPTO’s PAIR site, and includes a number of other improvements.
Other notable features of ClaimMaster include numerous patent proofreading tools for detecting errors in patent documents, such as wrong or missing claim numbers, status indicators or antecedents in patent claims, claim terms without support in the patent specification, incorrect element numbers in specification and drawings, and scope-limiting "patent profanities.” In short, ClaimMaster serves as second-set-of-eyes for patent professionals, performing critical quality control check of patents, drafted patent applications, and USPTO correspondence.
In addition, ClaimMaster includes helpful tools for streamlining patent prosecution and analysis.
