More than One Cause of Many Indoor Air Quality Complaints

Indoor air quality (IAQ) complaints have steadily been on the rise as more people spend time indoors, buildings are constructed ever tighter, and more people learn about the health effects of poor air quality. 
 
Few people would ever admit to wanting to live in a home with IAQ problems, sending their children to a school with a contaminated indoor environment, or spending 40+ hours at the office breathing unhealthy air.  Unfortunately, this is the case far too often for many adults and children.  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reports, “Health effects from indoor air pollutants may be experienced soon after exposure or, possibly, years later.”
