ADVANTYS releases version 5.6 of the WorkflowGen Enterprise BPM Software

Among multiple new features and improvements, WorkflowGen 5.6 offers Global Lists Management, Multi-activity instances and Completion of an action in the background.
 
Global Lists Management
This feature facilitates the administration of the data common to the processes.

• The Global List Management enables authorized users to easily create and manage lists of data via the WorkflowGen web administration module for use in different process’ forms.

• The global data lists can be created manually, imported or defined via a connection from an existing third party data base. They are then used by the process managers who may bind them in their forms and workflows without programming regardless of their administration rights.

• Enterprise relevant data that is not necessarily managed in an ERP or CRM, can enrich the company workflows with a decentralized administration to the managers of these data themselves.
 
Multi-activity instances
WorkflowGen 5.6 enables the multi-activity instances creation for the automatic to the person assignment method using a process data containing a list of username separated by comma or a participant with a list of persons. This feature simplifies the process definition and provides new workflow design possibilities, particularly regarding the subprocess activity management.
 
Completion of an action in the background
Complete an action in the background so the end-user doesn’t have to wait for the action completion to be redirect to the request follow-up form or the portal home page (according to the redirection setting defined in the configuration panel by the administrator).
