Author and Online Dating Expert Julie Spira to Appear at the NAB Show

The National Association of Broadcasters conference, NAB14 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 7 - 10, 2014. Over 100,000 broadcasters and content creators are expected to attend the annual conference, where content comes to life.
 
Julie Spira, a long-time radio broadcasting and technology executive will be appearing at the NAB, being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
 
PANELIST AT BEA
 
Spira has been selected by the Broadcast Education Association to be a panelist at the conference to discuss social media strategies for making career changes in radio.
 
On Monday April 7, 2014, the “Building Connections for Career Success” panel will bring together the experience of international consultants and a broadcaster turned social media strategist with combined experience (50+ years) to counsel about to be graduates on how to land their first job and build a career on top of that first job.
 
“It’s an honor to have been selected by the BEA to discuss the many career changes in radio and to help students and educators to see the power of social media,” says Spira.
 
Spira will be discussing how to connect through social media to create your personal brand. She will be joined by Valerie Geller, who will discuss expanding your connections and going mobile, along with Pat Bryson, who will speak about making connections so you know the person who can make your hiring decision.
 
The panel will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Pavillion 9 at 2:30 - 3:45pm.
 
BOOK SIGNING AT THE NAB STORE
 
On Tuesday, April 8, 2014, attendees will be able to meet Spira, as she’ll be the featured author at the NAB Store in Central Hall. Spira will be autographing copies of her bestselling book, The Perils of Cyber-Dating: Confessions of a Hopeful Romantic Looking for Love Online. Spira’s book signing will be held from 1:30pm - 2:00pm.
 
PODCASTING AT THE NEW MEDIA LOUNGE
 
On Tuesday and Wednesday of the conference, Spira will be podcasting her radio show live from the NMX at NAB New Media Lounge in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Spira’s show, Ask the Cyber-Dating Expert features the latest trends in online dating and mobile dating and takes calls from singles who are looking for love online. The show will air live from 4pm - 5pm. Listeners can call in with their questions by dialing 646-929-0012.
