Milliken Introduces Recycling for Campaign Yard Signs
“Pure Michigan isn‘t just a slogan, it’s a reflection on our need to be good stewards of the state,” said Bill. “Once this election is over, please help keep our State looking great -- and I will see to it that the Ecology Center is the beneficiary.”
In conjunction with Recycle Ann Arbor, WCC trustee candidate Bill Milliken announced a program that leads to a new litter-free campaign trend.
“After every election cycle the roadways are littered with lingering campaign signs,” Bill notes. “I don’t want my campaign signs to contribute to that blight.”
The upper left corner of each Milliken for WCC Trustee sign (below) carries the address for Recycle Ann Arbor. The Milliken for WCC Trustee Committee pledges to make a $1.00 contribution to the Ecology Center (www.ecocenter.org) for every one of its signs delivered to Recycle Ann Arbor following the November 8th election.
“Pure Michigan isn‘t just a slogan, it’s a reflection on our need to be good stewards of the state,” said Bill. “Once this election is over, please help keep our state looking great -- and I will see to it that the Ecology Center is the beneficiary.”
Bill Milliken is a respected Ann Arbor commercial Realtor who sits on the boards of the Washtenaw Community College Foundation and New Detroit. He believes that a good public education paves a student’s pathway to success. Bill is running for Washtenaw Community College trustee in order to assure that our community college continues to provide that important step on the path from high school to a good paying trade or University degree.
