HNTB welcomes Mahesh Patel to lead strategic projects for New Jersey office

Former NJDOT project manager brings decades of experience in complex infrastructure projects

HNTB Corporation, a leading infrastructure solutions firm, announces Mahesh Patel, PE, PMP, CPM, has joined the firm as a senior project manager and associate vice president in its Princeton, New Jersey office. Patel brings more than 35 years of experience in managing complex highway and bridge projects and will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of major projects for the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Patel previously worked for NJDOT for more than 30 years, most recently as a project manager overseeing complex capital projects, including the replacement of the Route 35 Victory Bridge over the Raritan River, the replacement of the Route 72 Causeway over the Manahawkin Bay, the replacement of the Route 7 Wittpenn Bridge over the Hackensack River, as well as 11 miles of pavement repair and rubblization along I-295.

Patel holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College in India. He is also a certified project management professional and certified public manager.
