Marc’s Show starts next week at the Phoenix Gallery at the famed and breathtaking Nepenthe in Big Sur. It is only fitting to have my show in the location that has inspired so much of my work—and life for that matter (one of my all time favorite surf spots is right here: There is nothing like getting “tubed” at the point break of Andrew Molera while surfing into the Santa Lucia Mountains.)

I began taking photographs of Big Sur in my early teens when I took frequent trips down the coast and fell in love with the beauty and the spirit of Big Sur. Through images I have been fortunate to capture the expression of the soul, each telling a story, whether of the spirit of nature or the spirit of the individual. I return to Big Sur often to photograph, surf, hike and take in its majestic beauty. See you there!

It’s been a great summer so far. We started off in the Caribbean shooting in Bonaire - what a photogenic island! You’ll see some of these shots on my site in the near future.
