SiBEAM, Inc., Recognized by EE Times As Emerging Startup To Watch for Fourth Consecutive Year

Sunnyvale, Calif. – February 10, 2009 – SiBEAM, Inc., a leading innovator of millimeter wave (mmWave) solutions and developer of high-speed wireless communications platforms, has again been selected as one of 60 companies in version 8.0 of the EE Times Emerging Startups list. This is the fourth year SiBEAM has been featured on the prestigious EE Times Emerging Startup List. SiBEAM was selected by EE Times editors based on a mix of criteria including: technology, intended market, maturity, financial position and investment profile.
A founding member of the WirelessHDTM Consortium, SiBEAM’s first products are based on the WirelessHDTM 1.0 specification and are available now. The company’s groundbreaking Omnilink60-based WirelessHD chipsets will be used for end-to-end wireless high-definition digital video display, without compression or buffering. These products provide the lowest cost and highest quality wireless video solution for consumer electronics and display applications.
